Pumpkin Fun

The children were very excited to see pumpkins this morning, Ronnie took to smashing the first one, while Alba made soup. Henry said “they light up” and Harley told me how to grow them, “you put seeds underground, water it and they grow” I asked if they grow on trees, the children all replied “no” Kingsley said “they grow up the street, I carve mine with a spoon and a fork, I painted a pumpkin on my pumpkin then I wash it off and paint it again.” Albas idea was to fill it with water, put it in the oven then eat it with crusty bread.
