Spelling: Below are the Year 2 common exception words - words that do not follow normal phonics rules. We have learned all of them over the course of the year, see how many you  can spell correctly.

Reading - Please remind children to bring their reading records with them to school every day. Our goal is to have everyone in Swift class reading at least 5 times each week and fill our records with gold stars! Reading records will be checked and books will be changed on a Friday, but it is important that children have their books each day so that adults can record their reading at school.

Handwriting - Practise all the joins we have worked on in Year 2 - both diagonal joins and horizontal joins:

Computing - Our computing this half-term is about using tools to create digital music. Have a play on Chrome Music Labs and see what you can create!

Maths - Children can continue to use their Times Tables Rockstar logins at home. 5-10 minutes a day is great for improving their fluency and recall of the 2, 5 and 10 times tables!

We have covered so much in our maths lessons this year! Use some of the games below or try some of the other maths games on Topmarks.co.uk to practise all of your skills.
