Class Timetable

We are currently reading stories about Place and Belonging related books in Jay Class. 

 

Our model text for this half of Spring term is The snowy walk. We will be learning to retell the story using a story map and actions as a whole class. We will be examining lots of different aspects of the text. 

Once upon a time, there was a small boy called Charlie Brown. He lived near a deep, dark forest.

One early morning, Charlie Brown saw lots of soft snowflakes fall gently onto the tall, silver trees in the forest. He decided it was the perfect day to explore!

The ground sparkled under his feet as walked through the crunchy snow. Under his feet, he spotted a key that was shiny and gold. He picked it up and felt a warm, magical glow.

Nearby, he saw a small treasure chest hidden next to a snowy bush. But would his key fit in the lock?

Thankfully, the key fit and the chest slowly opened.

Inside, he found a glowing lantern that lit up the forest! He carried the lantern home through the sparkling snow.
